John Kalisz's confession was instant. He was talking on the phone with Jessie Denny, a close, personal friend.

 

They were talking about sheriff's Capt. Chad Reed on Friday at the power company and the Dairy Queen and the Dixie County Emergency Services and the First Baptist Church.

 

Deputies say when 55-year-old John Kalisz arrived at a gas station in Cross City, the damage and pain he had inflicted was already unthinkable and it wasn't over.
