Authorities charged one man with with a felony after investigating a string of incidents that included a fight, a stabbing, and a crash that wrecked the front of the suspect's pickup truck. The incidents began unfolding just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the Village of Northport.
A drunken man told police he thought he was shooting at an intruder when he aimed his rifle at a guest in his home and shot through that person's pant leg, deputies said. Leelanau County sheriff's deputies responded to the parking lot of a business on a report that a man had been shot at.
